Get ready for the world’s biggest beer festival. What started in 1810 as a royal wedding party has grown into the largest Volksfest on earth, with over 6 million people from all over the world coming to Munich every year.
For two weeks, the Bavarian capital turns into one huge celebration of music, culture 🇩🇪, food, and of course… BEER. Locals and travelers alike dress up in traditional Lederhosen & Dirndls, filling giant tents with nonstop energy.

Yes! Our Yes-Trips Leaders will show you in the morning how to get into the festival. Only 30 percent of the tables are reserved so they will show you to right areas to get a table.
Yes, our campsite is equipped with shower facilities to ensure you can stay fresh and comfortable throughout your stay. You’ll have access to clean showers.
Pack light but smart. You’ll need the basics for camping and:
- Clothes for both warm days and chilly nights plus weatherproof clothing if it rains
- Towel, toiletries and personal essentials
- Reusable water bottle
- Portable charger (a lifesaver at festivals)
- ID and cash/card
- Comfortable shoes for walking around Munich
- Lederhosen or Dirndl (or rent one with us for the full vibe)
Yes. Without a table you won’t be able to order a drink or a meal in the tents. However you don’t need it. Only 30 percent of the tables are reserved and we arrive early enough to get one.
This year Oktoberfest will take place from the 19th of September until the 4th of October.
Depending on where you come from it can be a little bit more expensive than what you are used to. A liter of specially made beer costs around 12 to 13 euro depending on the tent you visit, and a meal costs around 10 to 15 euro.
Yes, of course! Anyone can join our trips.
Unfortunately once you bought a ticket you can’t cancel your ticket, however it is possible to transfer your ticket to someone else.
