Cancellation Policy
Our Cancellation Policy
The Trip Cancellation Insurance is designed to reimburse you in case of a trip cancellation due to an unforeseen event or calamity. We at Yes-Trips understand that sometimes bad luck hits you like in an ancient Greek tragedy and it interferes with your travel experience before you even leave. If you are forced to abandon a pre-booked trip you potentially have the right to a full reimbursement of your ticket price. However, please be aware that we cannot offer you a cure-all. While we understand that everyone’s circumstances are unique, we urge you to have a close look at our general terms and conditions to get to know your coverage.
In short, the Trip Cancellation Insurance provides coverage for yourself, and offers you a full reimbursement of your ticket price for a variety of cancellation reasons.
What are valid cancellation reasons?
Naturally you only want to cancel our epic trip if there is truly an emergency. Did you get too sick to join? Did someone in your family get seriously injured or worse, pass away? Did your house burn down? We surely hope not, but in such cases we would not want you to worry about your lost ticket expenses. In article 2 you can read about your exact coverage.
How much do we reimburse?
The total ticket price, including booking charges, for transportation and accommodation that you were required to pay in advance or have already paid. In article 2 you can read more.
How can you make a claim for reimbursement?
In order to fully benefit from your insurance, it is very important to follow the procedure and provide us with the documents as explained in article 5. We want to help you in the best possible way, but we can only do so if you make the application in time (that is: as soon as you learn that you cannot join or need to leave the trip), in the correct manner, and provide us with supporting evidence (doctor’s statement, official police report, certificate of death).
If you send us a claim, we firstly assess whether it is eligible for reimbursement. We then determine the amount to be reimbursed and transfer this amount to you. You can help us making this process go as smooth and fast as possible by reading and adhering to our terms and conditions as set out on the next pages of this document. If you have any questions or need any help with this, don’t hesitate to contact us!
