What is the ESN National Activity?
Every semester, a group of ESN sections embarks on an incredible excursion to one of Europe's main cities. The weekend is jam-packed with events, trips, parties, and new friends from all over the world. Prague, Berlin, Kings Day in Amsterdam, and Krakow have all been previous destinations, with the greatest excursion sending over 1300 International Erasmus students to Prague.
In 2025 with ESN Netherlands and ESN International, we are taking you to Copenhagen from the 1st of May to the 5th of May 2025.
📌Departures are the 1st of May evening - Arrival back to NL is the 5th of May early morning! Last info email will be sent 2 weeks prior departure. 📌

What are we going to do?
The ESN national activity is a very big trip with lots of possibilities. Here are some of the things that we organize together with the national board of ESN The Netherlands and the local Dutch ESN sections.
The activities
Various cultural events will be organized for you by the different ESN branches. A delicious supper with local delicacies, museum tours, city activities, or excursions to spectacular destinations are just a few ideas. Nothing is required; simply participate in whichever activity you enjoy!
Accommodation
The goal is meeting and getting to know Erasmus students from all over the globe. As a result, everyone will be housed in a big hostel in the city.
Parties
What is the best way to mix a lot of people together? Throw a massive party! Every night, all Erasmus students will get together at a local venue and dance through the night!

Thursday evening: 1st of May
Departure from The Netherlands with a touring car 📍
Start meeting all your trip mates and get some rest in the overnight bus ride! 🚌

Friday: 2nd of May
Arrival in Copenhagen in the morning 🇩🇰
Drop the luggage at the hostel 🧳
Free time to get breakfast, freshen up and start exploring the city 😉
Copenhagen city tour by Yes-trips guides 🏙️
20:30 Meet at the hostel common area to get to know each other better and get ready for the party!
Saturday: 3rd of May
During the day, the ESN sections and Yes-trips will organize various activities, (some free, some for a small fee) to make sure that you get the most out of the city. Optional activities have limited spots and need registration.

Sunday: 4th of May
10:30 – 11:00 Check-out at the hostel and leave the luggage in the common room.

You can re-sell your ticket to someone else. The important thing is that the new person who bought the ticket has the ticket with the QR code. It is not a problem if the ticket does not show the name of the person joining the trip.

Before the trip starts you will receive an email with the detailed program of the trip. In the email, there will be a QR code to a WhatsApp chat where all the last-minute information will be communicated by the Yes-trips guides.
