Amsterdam Pride is one of the greatest gay events in the world! It’s held annually at the center of the city during the first week of August.
This festival attracts thousands of people worldwide making it one of the biggest celebrations in the Netherlands.
The Amsterdam Gay Pride usually covers a week of various activities for the LGBTQ+ community people, including exhibitions, cultural and sports events. There are also street parties next to all of the gay bars, and also a closing party on the Sunday after the Canal Parade.

Our Campsite!

The Tents
Our 2 or 4-person tents are ready to use with a sleeping bag, an air mattress, and a pillow . All you have to do is just fall asleep.
The party
Our experienced guides will make sure you see the best of Gay Pride. Not tired yet or do just want to mingle? Our after-party will do the trick, without disturbing the people who want to sleep after a long day

Location and how to get there
We have an exclusive location in Amsterdam Noord near the city center! You can find us easily on the map and there’s public transportation that can take you there! Our stop is Noorderpark, then you have to walk 7 minutes and that’s it!
Who is gonna be there?
Our campsite its full of fun people, between 18 - 35 years aprox. You will meet people from EVERYWHERE. Last time we had +30 nationalities. If you want a place fun and adventurous… STOP looking. You found it!
The package
Starting at 65€ per night we will show you the best Gay Pride has to offer, all you have to do is show up. This package includes the following:
Accommodation in a tent including a sleeping bag, air mattress, and pillow
Activities or games with our staff
A team of guides to show you to the festival.
Option to rent bikes at our campsite
Full bathrooms well equipped
Restaurant and bar at the campsite
Option to rent a parking spot
Open kitchen

How to get there?

Here are all the options you can get:
Train: 15 minutes - from €5
Bus: 30 minutes - from €7
Taxi: 20 minutes - from €50
Hotel Shuttle- 30 minutes, from €20

Metro 52 stop Noorderpark. This is around 7 minutes’ walk from the camp site.
There are 2 perfect bus stations near our campsite: Amsterdam Cental Station ( 3km) and Amsterdam Noord Station (1km). Try your ticket leave you in either of those options. You can find buses that can take you there or you can simply walk!

From Amsterdam Central station there are 2 ferries - these are free for pedestrians and cyclists.
Ijplein Ferry (stops at midnight) – after the crossing follow the main road - Meeuwenlaan for 2 kilometers (15-20 minutes walking) and you will find the campsite on your left in the Vliegenbos Park.
Buiksloterweg Ferry (24/7) – after the crossing follow the main canal on your right, cross at the canal lock and follow pathway until you reach Meeuwenlaan, head north for 2 kilometers (15-20 minutes walking) and you will find the campsite on your left in the Vliegenbos Park
All you need to know about our campsite

Showers:
The showers are open from 06:00 - 0:00. You don't need tokens to use the showers. There are also bathroom facilities for wheelchair users, the key is available at the reception.
Wifi:
There is free WiFi on the campsite. Ask for the password at the reception.
Kitchen:
The outside campsite kitchen has basic cooking facilities and a communal fridge.
Bicycles:
Bicycles can be rented at the campsite from TIP Amsterdam Noord. In the busy season or if you're with a large group it's best to make a reservation. Mail info@tipamsterdamnoord.nl for more information.
Device charging station:
Small electronic devices can be charged for free at reception.
Shop:
1 kilometer from the camping is a large Dirk van den Broek supermarket – Meeuwenlaan 76.

Check-in timing
Starting from 14:00 until 22:00
Late check-in
Late check-in has a cost of € 10 per person. If you need to check-in after 22:00 please send an email at info@yes-trips.com object “late check-in” to request a late check-in.

Check-out is between 08:00 am until 11:00 am

Sleeping bag, matress, and pillow.
*Please note, everyone, is sleeping in tents. There is no cabin, roulette nor dormitory available.

Each customer has to pay a deposit of € 20 cash per person for any damage at the campsite and campsite material. The deposit will be given back at check-out. Make sure you have cash upon arrival.
No- there is no ATM close to us- Amsterdam Central Station is the closest.
An amazing place to stay! Friendly staff and me and my friends met a lot of new people from around the world. It was well organized I’ll definitely come back!
