What is Carnival?
Kölle Alaaf! That is what everybody yells during Saturday 11th of November. Do you want to experience what it’s like to celebrate on the streets with thousands of other people? Then get your best costume out of the closet and join us on our trip to Cologne!
This semester you get the chance to experience the official opening of the Carnival season. In Cologne on the 11th of November at 11:11 am the city will be covered in glitter. Thousands of people fill the streets of Cologne and celebrate Carnival together.
Together with ESN The Hague, ESN Rotterdam and ESN Delft we will join this unforgettable event!

This is one of the biggest Carnival celebrations in Western Europe and is proudly held in the city of Cologne. On the Neumarkt and Heumarkt thousands of people gather to sing the day away and enjoy themselves.
