What is the ESN National Activity?
Every semester, all the Dutch ESN sections go on an amazing journey together to one of the major cities in Europe. The whole weekend is filled with activities, tours, parties and with lots of new friends from all over the world. Past destinations have been Prague, Berlin, Kings day in Amsterdam and Krakow, with the largest trip taking over 1300 international Erasmus students to Prague.
In 2023 we are taking over Prague from the 16th of November till the 20th. The ticket sale starts on the 2nd of October at 12pm

What are we going to do?
The ESN national activity is a very big trip with lots of possibilities. Here are some of the things that we organize together with the national board of ESN The Netherlands and the local Dutch ESN sections.
The activities
The local ESN sections will organize various cultural activities for you. Some examples are: a tasty dinner with local specialties, museum visits, city games or excursions to amazing places. Nothing is mandatory, just join whatever activity you feel like!
Accommodation
This trip is all about mixing and mingling with other international Erasmus students from other cities. Hence, everyone will stay in various hostels around the city that we completely take over.
Parties
What is the best way to mix a lot of people together? Throw a big party! Every night, all Erasmus students will get together at a local venue and dance till the sun comes up.

The price of the trip is € 189 and includes the following:

What is included?
The program
Your national trip is something very special, so we want to help you make the most out of it. Even though the schedule is different per city and destination, here is how it generally looks like:
Departure cities and schedules will be sent 2 weeks prior to the departure date
Thursday evening: 16th of November
Departures. The time and location will be communicated by email 2 weeks before departure.
Friday: 17th of November
Arrival in Prague and drop off at the central station
Follow your guides to the hostel
Drop off your luggage and freshen up a bit (no check-in in the rooms available)
City tour with the Yes-trips student guides
Check-in
Freetime to explore the city or take some rest before the night!
Pre-drinks at the hostels
Night out at Karlovy Lazne (entrance included for everyone)

Let's take this different tour for the lovers to know the dark secrets and mysteries of the cities they visit. This 1.5-hour tour will give the participants an experience and memories they will remember forever.

Daytrip to the biggest concentration camp in the Czech Republic.
The price includes transport by private bus to the location and entrance to the Camp with a guided tour.

Trip to the famous Bones Church, a chapel decorated with human skulls and bones in Kutná Hora.
The price includes transport by private bus to the location and entrance to the 2 churches in Sedlec. The bus will be back in Prague around 16:00/17:00.

A visit to the only sex machines museum in the world. A museum consisting of 3 floors and over 600m2 in the city centre of Prague.

Come climb the Petrin tower on top of the hill with us!
It will offer the best view of the city. In order to get there, you can take the beautiful funicular (extra cost) or have a nice hike up. You can’t miss this highlight during your visit to Prague.

Literally the coolest experience in Prague. In Icepub Prague is a place where all that you can see or feel - walls, bar, tables, sculptures, and even your own personal glass - is made of ice.
In Icepub Prague the temperature is kept at -7 degrees all year round! We will be given a thermal jacket and gloves to keep us warm during our visit. The experience takes 20 minutes in which we can enjoy a drink included in the price.

The best way to explore the city at night is a pub crawl! A massive pub crawl with 3 pubs, 3 shots, and entrance to one of the best clubs in Prague the Roxy Club! This is the night activity you cannot miss.

You can re-sell your ticket to someone else. The important thing is that the new person who bought the ticket has the ticket with the QR code. It is not a problem if the ticket does not show the name of the person joining the trip.

Before the trip starts you will receive an email with the detailed program of the trip. In the email, there will be a QR code to a WhatsApp chat where all the last-minute information will be communicated by the Yes-trips guides.
