Welcome to Costa da Caparica, Lisbon’s perfect blend of laid-back surf town meets summer party vibe. This is the place where beach days blur into night swims and surf sessions turn into new friendships.

For one week, you’ll live just minutes from the ocean in one of Portugal’s top surf camps, surrounded by travelers from all over the world. You’ll have 10 hours of surf coaching, healthy daily breakfasts, six dinners (including a BBQ night), and access to all the camp extras: yoga sessions, wine tastings, beach games, karaoke nights, the game room, coworking space, and a 24/7 kitchen.

Come alone or with friends.
Either way, we’ll handle the boring stuff so you can just show up ready to make memories.

Your week takes place in Costa da Caparica, a long stretch of beach just south across the river from Lisbon. It’s known for easy beginner waves, wide sandy shores, and a fun local scene.

You’ll stay at a surf camp designed for travelers: close to the water, full of social spaces, and buzzing with daily activities. Daily breakfast, group dinners throughout the week, 10 hours of surf lessons or coaching, and a steady flow of extras like yoga, karaoke, beach games, and wine tastings. There’s always something happening, and always someone around to join you.

Day 2 – Surf Camp

You’ll meet your instructors, collect your wetsuit and board, and head out for your first session. Whether it’s your very first wave or a refresher, this session sets you up for the week. Later on, join optional activities like yoga, beach games, or a sunset walk. Breakfast and dinner included today.

Each day includes time in the water, either taking a lesson or practicing what you learned. Afternoons are wide open for exploring Caparica, relaxing at the beach, or joining one of the camp’s free and paid activities like yoga or a wine tasting.

Day 4 – Surf Camp

You’ll continue developing your surf skills or simply enjoy your time on the waves. The camp always has something going on, from games in the common areas to optional nighttime activities. Or just soak up the sun — your call.

Keep surfing or take advantage of a slower morning if your arms need the break. Optional activities might include yoga, beach volleyball, or exploring the town. Dinner brings everyone together again at the camp.

Enjoy your final session in the water and spend the afternoon however you choose. After dinner, join the camp’s closing evening vibes, whether that’s games, music, or a final beach hangout.

Enjoy one last breakfast with the group before checking out. You’ll make your own way back to Lisbon based on your flight or travel plans. The Yes-Trips leader will be available for any help you need before heading out.

If you’re planning your trip to portugal, here’s some useful info!

Travel insurance is not required for our trips, but we do recommend having it for your own peace of mind and extra protection.

Our groups are always made of people from all over the world and we want to give the chance to everyone to join us, no matter what airport they depart from!

Use these platforms to compare prices, but whenever possible, book directly on the airline’s website (e.g. TAP, Ryanair, EasyJet, Vueling) for easier changes and support if schedules shift.

If you want zero stress, you can book our airport shuttle directly through Yes-Trips. We’ll pick you up at Lisbon Airport and drop you off at the surf camp. Simple, quick, and perfect if you’re arriving solo or with friends.

You can also take an Uber or Bolt, which usually takes about 25–35 minutes (approximately €30-€40) from the airport to Costa da Caparica.

Regular taxis are available outside the airport 24/7 and work well if you prefer a classic pickup.

If you’re traveling on a budget, public transportation is possible too. Take the metro or bus into Lisbon and then a connecting bus to Caparica. It takes more time but gets you there. Our fav app to help get you there Rome2Rio.

Yes, of course! Everyone can join our trips.

Yes-Trips cannot be held responsible for any delays or cancellations that are caused by events that are beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of civil authority (strikes), acts of terrorism, civil commotion, demonstrations, eruptions etc.

In case you need to cancel your ticket, you can do it and get a full refund until 15th of October 2025 by sending an email to info@yes-trips.com with “cancellation Iceland trip” as the subject.

After this date, cancellation with refund is not possible, but you can always resell your ticket, and of course, we can help you out with that.
