If you’re planning your trip to Egypt, here’s some useful info!

Our groups are always made of people from all over the world and we want to give the chance to everyone to join us, no matter what airport they depart from!

When buying a flight make sure to buy the best time range you can get. Recommendations of websites to buy cheap tickets:

Skyscanner
Google Flights
Kayak

We suggest to use these platforms to compare prices and then book directly on the airline website (ex: Ryanair, EasyJet, Vueling, etc)

Cairo International Airport is located about 20–25 km northeast of downtown Cairo, and there are several easy ways to reach the city centre after your flight:

• Taxi or private transfer (fastest):
Taxis and ride apps like Uber are available directly outside the arrivals area. The journey to central Cairo usually takes 30–45 minutes, depending on traffic, and drops you off directly at your hostel or hotel.

• Airport shuttle / hotel transfer:
Some accommodations offer pre-arranged transfers. If you’ve booked one, your driver will meet you in the arrivals hall.

• Public transport (budget option):
Local buses run from the airport toward central Cairo, though they can be slower and more crowded.
Most travelers choose a taxi or Uber for the easiest arrival.

Transport information is correct at the time of writing but may be subject to change due to local schedules or availability.

Here’s a quick list of essentials to make the most of your Cairo adventure:

  • Comfortable walking shoes (you’ll be exploring markets and ancient sites)
  • Lightweight, breathable clothing
  • A light jacket or sweater (evenings can get cooler)
  • Sunscreen & sunglasses
  • Hat or scarf for sun protection
  • Plug adapter
  • Toiletry bag
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Cash (small shops, tips, and local markets)
  • Phone with offline maps

…and of course, good vibes! 😎

Egypt is a Muslim-majority country, but Cairo is a large, modern city where travelers of all backgrounds are welcome. There’s no law requiring women to wear a hijab, but modest clothing is appreciated, especially outside tourist areas. It’s best to avoid very low-cut tops, very short skirts, and short shorts.

When visiting religious sites, both men and women should cover knees and shoulders, and women may be asked to cover their hair. Lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended for the warm weather, along with comfortable shoes for walking.

Yes, of course! Everyone can join our trips.

We do not have a cancellation policy for this trip. You can resell your tickets to someone else.

Every story startes with day one.

Can’t make it to Jordan this time? Then our Jordan Bucket List trip is calling.
